In business since 1994, all fused glass pendants, cabochons and donuts are handmade by the artist Vicki Cederquist in her studio in Selma, California. This includes being properly annealed in a computer controlled kiln.

The glass used in these fused pendants, cabochons and donuts was developed by NASA for use in the space program. This glass coating has also been used in photographic applications and telescopes. Various formulations of metallic oxides are used to achieve the shimmering colors. They are applied in numerous very thin layers. These layers will withstand high temperatures and are not affected by moisture, solvents or most acids.
